A month after the Peddi controversy, Janhvi Kapoor has signed her next film with Pagglait director Umesh Bist, backed by Balaji Motion Pictures and Sikhya Entertainment, shooting from October-November. Umesh Bist will also direct Pagglait 2 with Sanya Malhotra.
Meanwhile, Janhvi remains silent on the Peddi objectification row, which sparked wide industry reactions.
