Rohit Shetty's "Maria IPS," based on ex-cop Rakesh Maria, sees John Abraham undergo a major transformation, bulking up for his 20s-30s and slimming down for his 50s-60s portrayal. Filming began in July 2025 at Ellora Studios, with police station scenes shot there.
Parts were also filmed at Western Railway premises in February.
