Shri Ramlila Mahasangh has demanded a special pre-release screening of Ranbir Kapoor's 'Ramayana', calling his portrayal of Lord Ram "weak" and flagging Lanka's depiction as concerning. It warned of protests if ignored, citing 'Adipurush's failure.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the Rs 4,000-crore two-part epic also stars Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol and Yash, releasing Diwali 2026.
