Filmmaker Shakeel Noorani, 73, was arrested for allegedly raping and sexually assaulting a 33-year-old actress he met in 2016. She claims he sedated, threatened and repeatedly assaulted her using a video.
Noorani was traced to a Satara farmhouse and arrested. His lawyer denies the charges; he's in custody till August 12.
