Veteran Bengali filmmaker Raja Sen is in critical condition at SSKM Hospital. He is currently on ventilation and under close medical observation by doctors.

Sen has faced several health complications for years, including a back injury from an accident. Earlier this year, he underwent surgery for a neurological condition which initially improved.

His family and the film fraternity are concerned as his health has recently deteriorated.
