A Kerala consumer commission ordered a bakery to pay compensation for selling expired Diet Coke tins. The customer discovered the product was unfit for consumption after purchasing it.

The bakery owner attempted to bribe the customer to conceal the expired product. The commission ruled the seller, not Coca-Cola India, is liable for such sales.

The bakery must refund the cost and pay compensation for mental agony.
