Rapper and entrepreneur Rick Ross expanded his footprint in the American real estate market by acquiring and significantly enlarging a massive Georgia property previously owned by boxing legend Evander Holyfield. The multi-million-dollar transaction transformed a sprawling residential compound into an even larger rural retreat.

The acquisition began in 2014 when the hip-hop artist purchased the sprawling estate located in Fayette County, Georgia, for $5.8 million. The initial purchase encompassed approximately 235 acres of land alongside an immense main residence. Years later, additional land acquisitions increased the overall footprint of the compound by 87 acres at a cost of $1 million. Following the expansion, the unified property spans roughly 322 acres and has been officially renamed the Promise Land.

At the center of the expansive ranch sits an exceptionally large main house measuring 45,000 square feet. The massive dwelling features a reported 109 rooms, accommodating extensive living quarters, entertainment spaces, and amenities. Among the notable outdoor features of the grounds is a 350,000-gallon swimming pool, recognized as one of the largest residential pools in the country.

The estate has also gained recognition in the entertainment industry beyond its famous owners. The grand architecture and picturesque grounds served as a filming location for the comedy sequel Coming 2 America, bringing the property's distinct visual appeal to international audiences.

Evander Holyfield, the former undisputed heavyweight boxing champion, originally built and developed the property during the height of his athletic career. Financial challenges later forced the champion pugilist to part ways with the massive compound before it was acquired by Rick Ross.

Since taking ownership, Rick Ross has utilized the massive estate not only as a private residence but also as a venue for large-scale events, including his annual car and bike show. The expansive grounds allow the entrepreneur to host thousands of visitors, showcasing his collection of vehicles and utilizing the vast landscape for public and private gatherings. The transformation from a legendary athlete's private sanctuary into a prominent cultural hub marks a major chapter in the history of the Fayette County estate.
